"Fast fashion is not free. Someone somewhere is paying" - Lucy Siegle
@No26 we want to make a difference by encouraging customers to buy less, buy better and support small independent local business. We make and sell well designed garments constructed from materials that already exist, such as end-of-roll fabrics, preloved bed-and table linen, and calico remnants from our bespoke sampling garments.
For our bespoke design occasion wear garments we use sustainable linings and print on demand to minimise waste. Silk is sourced from UK suppliers who buy from factories that are certified as GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard, Ecology & Social Responsibility).
"Buy less. Choose well. Make it last." - Vivienne Westwood

Families dye yarn by hand, then weave small batches of fabric by hand on small power looms or handlooms. Fabrics are then given to a women’s co-operative to sew items. The project is called ‘Gramodaya’ which means ‘Family Prosperity’.
Frill dress made out of preloved mixed cotton men’s shirts and surplus stock designer fabric.
Salvaged denim garments deconstructed then sewn together in blocks to create 'new' fabric used to make kimono style jackets.
Preloved men's shirts, organic cotton remnants, machine embroidered trim and vintage French lace.
